Irving Propane Pricing 2024-25

Here is the Irving Propane Plans for the 2024-2025 season for Golf Village & South Down / Long Bay Irving Customers.

Irving has provided 4 options that each customer can choose from:

1. Do Nothing-Customer will get a $1.59 discount (deduction) from the current street price (3.24 Today) that fluctuates, current Irving Street price is $3.24 so that bill would be $1.65/gallon.

2. Prebuy Plan - This would be an actual prebuy for the year, if last year you signed up for 250 gallons they would want you to pay that up front, at today's price it is the same as 1 above at $1.65/gallon.

3. Budget Plan - You agree and the gallon at a discount of only 1.49 and they you make equal payments over the 9 month period of the contract. So the budget plan (1 Sept 2024 - 31 May 2025) would be at 1.75/gallon

4. Net 30 Plan - This is the same as last year where you sign up for gallons at a fixed rate and pay for them as you use them. The discount for this plan is $1.39 or today's price of 1.85/gallon.

a. You can set any of the prices in 2 thru 4 between now and 1 Sept 2024, if you have not selected then you will automatically be in 1 above.

b. You have from NOW till 30 Sept 2024 to choose a plan from 2, 3 ,or 4 above but keep in mind the daily propane price variance.

c. You can choose this in your account online or call 888.310.1924

Dead River Pricing Information 2025


To All Long Bay South Down/ Long Bay Owners:

We have just published the 2025/2026 Dead River Heating Season Prices for South Down and Long Bay. You will find the new pricing agreement with Dead River on the respective South Down and Long Bay websites, along with contact information, and forms for new owners that are not already a Dead River customer. 

It is important that you begin setting up your pricing contracts with Dead River before June 24th, as pricing is very volatile right now and they will have to adjust pricing with market changes after this date. 

It is also important to note that Dead River has committed to continuing this type of savings over for 5 years and this is the 2nd year of that agreement.

For those that are interested in comparing the significant savings we are enjoying with Dead River, please see the below average prices just published by the NH Department of Energy, that shows what is happening throughout the State of New Hampshire, outside of SD/LB.

Everyone must act by June 24, 2025!

• Existing homeowners who participated last year, simply call Dead River (603-744-5456 or 800-323-2353) and lock in your Fixed Price rates prior to June 24th (see 2025 Letter to Long Bay & South Down Homeowners for financing options);

• If you did not sign an agreement with Dead River in 2024 and would like to take advantage of this new South Down/Long Bay buying consortium, complete & mail an Application (link below) or contact Dead River prior to June 24th to participate.


NH Fuel Prices 
Under the US Department of Energy's State Heating Oil and Propane Program (SHOPP), the New Hampshire Department of Energy monitors residential retail prices for heating oil and propane to determine the average prices for these fuels in New Hampshire. In addition to the federal SHOPP program, the Department also monitors gasoline, diesel fuel, electricity, wood pellet, and natural gas prices.

Petroleum Fuels Current Averages – May 23, 2025
In New Hampshire, the average price for #2 Heating Oil is $3.48 per gallon, and the average price for Propane is $4.03 per gallon. Kerosene is also available at an average price of $4.32 per gallon. These prices are updated weekly from the first Tuesday in October until the last Tuesday of March, and monthly the rest of the year by the New Hampshire Department of Energy.
